Hajime Sorayama is a veteran Japanese artist well known internationally for his photo-realistic airbrush illustrations of women in erotic bondage/SM. This art book “Sorayama : XL-Masterworks Edition” is quite possibly his biggest collection of artwork in a single volume with almost over 450 pages of full colored illustrations.

Most of the illustrations found in this book are just too sexually explicit and provocative to be reproduced on this blog ( often showing uncensored female genitalia ), so the ones you see here are his “tamer” pieces.

I’m a huge Sorayama fan! This looks like a “must have”for sure. Right now I have the older Hajimi Sorayama (that’s the name of the book, seems to have been printed in Germany & has Forwards in English, French, and German), the two Hyper Illustrations books, Realativision, and the 2010 Masterworks book. My only gripe with the Masterworks book was that it was a little small, so I would love to pick up a copy of this XL version.

Thanks for sharing as always!

Don – I figured the book would be fairly big but the actual size exceeded my expectations. For the page count and the hard cover binding this is very good value for money.

Glad the review helps, thanks for visiting. :]

If interested to know, this books layout is almost identical to the previously released Masterworks by Sorayama. This book has approx 20+ extra artworks than the previous book. However the previous book does have 1 artwork that this book does not. But for completists it is only a small picture of a metallic sphere, so your not missing out of much.
